Visit to Lissadell by HRH the Prince of Wales and his wife HRH the Duchess of Cornwall

on 20 May 2015.

TRH unveiled a plaque to commemorate the poet W. B. Yeats, and the two Gore-Booth sisters born in Lissadell, Constance and Eva, about whom the poet wrote these beautiful lines:

The light of evening, Lissadell,
Great windows open to the south,
Two girls in silk kimonos, both
Beautiful, one a gazelle.
