DIRECTIONS
Lissadell is situated 16km north of Sligo Town. From Sligo take the N15 north, pass the village of Rathcormack, and take a left turn after Drumcliff for Carney and points west. The next 6km takes you through the village of Carney, heading west. The entrance to Lissadell is the third on the left after the village of Carney, directly opposite the Anglican Church built by Sir Robert Gore Booth in the 1850s.
Lissadell is an iconic Estate, and also our home. Please respect it.
VISITING AT LISSADELL
There is a lot of walking, sensible shoes are a must, and our visitors need to be mobile. Lissadell House was built in 1833, and is not wheelchair accessible. We stress that our visitors need to be mobile.
Photography: commercial or any dSLR photography is not permitted unless licensed in advance, in writing. If you are not specifically authorised, please leave any cameras / dSLRs or camera kit locked in the boot of your car, or leave your kit at the reception desk. There is no difficulty with images taken on phone cameras, for personal use.
Dogs: visitors are not permitted to bring dogs on to the Lissadell Estate.
